PodBay
Internal R&D (foundations). PodBay is a runtime contract for how multi-agent-built software is supposed to exist in production: what the system is, what must be true, what depends on what, and what “healthy” means—rather than only “a container is running.”
The gap it targets
Code agents can produce changes faster than any single person can load into working memory, but the stack has no shared, machine- and human-legible system of record for runtime truth. That gap shows up as systems that work until the next change, until scale, or until a human who understood the system leaves. PodBay is not “another orchestrator” or “Compose with extra YAML”—it is a layer of requirements, verification, and explainability aligned to how modern software teams are working with AI coding agents.
North star
Show our agents a repository they have never seen, and in a short, bounded amount of time they can understand the operational contract, its dependencies, where risk lives, and how to ship complete, production-ready containerized stacks.
(Exact time targets are product decisions; the intent is seconds-to-minutes comprehension, not a multi-day archaeology project.)
Level Up Labs context
This effort is internal today: we are using it to sharpen how we talk about deployable and auditable agentic systems before we take it to a broader release narrative. The public product pages remain the execution and intelligence products you see in the stack.
